Partners – Southern Livestock Adaptation 2030

This project was part of the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry “Australia’s Farming Future’s Climate Change Research Program (CCRP)”. The CCRP was instituted in 2009 to help prepare Australia’s primary industries for climate change and build the resilience of the Australian agricultural sector into the future.

Other primary funding partners were Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA), Dairy Australia (DA) and Australian Wool Innovation (AWI).

Project partners included CSIRO, the University of Melbourne, the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA), NSW Department of Primary Industries (NSW DPI), Department of Primary Industries, Victoria (DPIV), Department of Agriculture and Food West Australia (DAFWA), South Australian Research & Development Institute (SARDI), and hundreds of livestock producers across southern Australia.
